Maui Residents Invited to Give Input on Future Transportation Projects

Maui Metropolitan Planning Organization

The Maui Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking public input on improving transportation on the Valley Isle.

A virtual town hall on Maui’s Transportation Improvement Program will take place via Zoom on June 15 from 4 p.m. through 5:30 p.m.

The Maui MPO invites locals to provide their input on federal-aid transportation projects in Maui.

There will be a presentation on the draft 2022-2025 TIP that is available for public review. The TIP includes nearly 40 transportation projects on Maui that are prioritized for federal funding in the next four years.

Transportation projects include road and bridge repairs, complete street projects, buses, traffic signals, and safety improvements.

To register for the virtual town hall, visit mauimpo.org.
