HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have released officer body cam footage of State Rep. Sharon Har being arrested for drunk driving.

Har is seen being handcuffed and put into the backseat of a patrol car.

In the video, she’s very apologetic to officers and repeatedly says she’s embarrassed.

When they ask her if she’s sick, injured, or taking medication, she replies, “No, I promise I’m OK.”

The 52-year-old lawmaker was arrested last week Monday after police saw her driving in the wrong direction on Beretania Street.

Har later said she had one beer and was taking cough medicine that contained codeine.
