The following types of plans are available in Hawaii. Each health plan meets the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Copayment HMO plans
Predictable copays, a focus on prevention, and programs that go beyond the traditional HMO
Deductible HMO plans
Once the out-of-pocket-maximum is met, most services are 100% covered the rest of the year
Occupational Health Care
All of your employees — even those who aren’t Kaiser Permanente members — can get treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses

NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization that works to improve health care quality. NCQA ratings are based on a number of measures that assess how each plan performs when it comes to treatment, prevention, and patient experience.
