Four out-of-state visitors were arrested on Maui for alleged violation of rules and orders related to travel quarantine.

The arrests included:

  • Angelo Catalano, 29, of Goleta, California,
  • Ariel Catalano, 27, of Oakley, California,
  • Vanessa Hamilton, 21, of Vacaville, California, and
  • Melanie Miles, 26, of Boulder, Colorado.

Police say all four arrived on Maui on an Oʻahu flight without a negative pre-travel COVID-19 test and did not have approved lodging in which to complete the mandatory 10-day travel quarantine.
