All county services on Kauai back to normal following internet outage

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - All county services on Kauai are back to normal after a network and server outage caused internet problems on Tuesday morning, officials said.
Services at the Lihue Civic Center — such as the Department of Motor Vehicles and other customer service counters — were temporarily down or delayed.
The county said a mechanical issue caused the outage and employees experienced “sporadic” email service.
Phone service, however, was unaffected.
The server and network were back online by 10:40 a.m.
