Hawaii State Hospital escapee caught in Kaneohe

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Authorities have captured a man who escaped the Hawaii State Hospital Sunday.
The Hawaii Department of Public Safety (PSD) identified the patient as 29-year-old Andrew Schmitke.
He escaped around 12:30 p.m. Sunday and was caught Monday afternoon in the Kaneohe area.
